Planting bells

It's hard to tell in this shot, but there is a sapling that I'm growing from burying 1000 bells in the ground (That's the currency in the game). Of to the left (my character's right) is a second sapling that I have planted.

Hopefully in a couple of days I'll be growing money from trees.

Good luck! I hope you get your bells (and lots of 'em, too). I tried that several times in the regular AC game for Gamecube and it never worked. Maybe AC: WW is better with that. I hope.

Lauren, did the trees die? did they mature but not bare fruit? I figured that burying 1000 bells would be more effective than 100 bells. We shall see.

Try coconuts, too. They're worth a pretty penny. I can't believe I actually used the phrase "pretty penny."

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the trees died. (-_-) They grew to a little stump but were withered. I haven't tried burying 1000 bells though so I hope that works. ^^

i tried the money tree once, but it never grew anything. just leaves. wrong kinda green.

well... you will need a golden shovel, i think. and some patience...

since i do not want the game to be finished for me too quickly
i am not trying to push too hard...

and yet it made me look when amy got an expansion on her house
before i have even managed to pay 50% of my mortgage.
